Visiting the University of Virginia
Visiting the University of Virginia for education or health can seem intimidating, even for locals. Therefore, we created the physical UVA Visitor Guide and Map to help guests who visit the University of Virginia each year. This resource can be found in most places on Grounds, as well as in our display network (hotel, B&Bs, Visitor Centers, vineyards, breweries, etc.) across the area.
The University of Virginia’s interactive Visitor Map provides the most up-to-date information in a digital format.
Parking & Transportation
During the academic semester, parking on Grounds can be limited and special traffic patterns and restrictions during University events. Students, faculty, staff and visitors can now pay for parking at most locations on Grounds with their smartphones using the ParkMobile app.
The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) is located approximately eight miles from the University served by Delta, United, and American airlines.
